    • Server Access Access to the BigBlueRP DayZ Server is completely free and we can be found on the DZSA Launcher by searching for BigBlueRP.    Donations BigBlueRP accepts any and all donations made to help keep the server going. Donations are not required to play on the server but are greatly appreciated. Donations are what allow us to continue to make the server better as well as having custom mods created for everyone to use.   If and When we are approved for monetization with Bohemia Interactive we will be looking to add the following in-game and out of game items: Custom Clothing Textures Clan Specific Clothing and Patches sold in a clan trader (All Players will have access to) Clan Traders (All Players will have access to) In-game sponsorship and logo placement Priority queuing for server loading  Supporter role in forums Additional textures for in game items to make your DayZ experience unique
    • DayZ Server Monetization From December 1st 2015, anyone who registers, is approved, and is listed on https://www.bohemia.net/monetization/approved/dayz is allowed following monetization of their Dayz "private shard" servers: Charging players to access your server, if the fees and associated perks do not affect gameplay in any way, is allowed. Limiting access to only paying players is allowed. Servers with access limited to paying players must be on a different hive, or have rules and settings identical to the freely accessible servers. Product placement, in-game advertising and sponsorship is allowed. Accepting donations is allowed, but to avoid any doubts: not providing donations must not prevent anyone from accessing the content. Selling of in-game items, that don’t affect gameplay, and selling of cosmetic perks are allowed. (Applicable only to servers with mods, after modding support has been added to Dayz) Please remember, that these rules do not apply to public hive Dayz servers or the Dayz mod! If we feel anyone on the list at https://www.bohemia.net/monetization/approved/dayz is exploiting any loopholes or is not acting in the best interests of the community, we will remove them. That will mean they will have to cease this kind of monetization immediately or face legal action. Before applying, please check the following FAQ The permission is given for a limited time. It will expire on January 31st 2022.
    • 1. You must Roleplay a semi believable character: 1.1 Every player on the server is expected to have an explanation behind each of their actions. 1.2 Metagaming or stream sniping will not be tolerated. 1.3 Players are not expected to act as their characters appearance based on their gender but are expected to maintain a consistent character name with a backstory whether it be realistic or not. 1.4 Players must have a name assigned to their character in game. It must be either your RP character name or your steam name. "Survivor" is not allowed and an admin will ask you to change it. 2. KOS Rules: 2.1 Players are not permitted to kill on site other than the areas defined in the KOS zone channel in Discord. 2.2 Killing another player outside of a safe zone is permitted so long as there is a proper reason behind it. An example of a proper reason is if you had a previous or ongoing confrontation that was hostile You can decide to take lethal action as a means to protect your character. 3. Warning shots: 3.1 You may fire in the general direction of another player as a means to maintain dominance over a specific position you wish to keep from others such as a base, a hide out, or maybe even hunting grounds. 3.2 Warning shots are not allowed to actually shoot the player causing injury but once you give off warning shots they are permitted to fire on you. 3.3 You may not shoot with lethal intent until you have been fired upon by the other party. 3.4 Any player that is exploiting the warning shots rule to engage in combat and/or baiting and is known to be a nuisance amongst the community will face a temporary ban. 3.5 Firing a warning shot that makes contact with a vehicle that another player is inside is not allowed. The bullet could possibly make contact with the player inside and be considered "Lethal Intent" as per rule 3.3 4. Character Death: 4.1 In the event that you are killed you are not allowed to return to the scene unless it is within your territory for a full 30 minutes. 4.2 After respawning you are not to tell other players that you have been killed due to it making no sense realistically. Rather say you were severely injured and lost all of your belongings. you are allowed to remember your death in detail but once again are not allowed to take action on it for a minimum of 30 minutes after your initial death. 5. Trader Rules: 5.1 No stealing vehicles or stealing from vehicles at the trader. 5.2 No action will be taken on any players suspected of stealing in the trader unless video evidence is sent in by the reporter. 5.3 You are not allowed to engage in any hostile activity whether it be for role-play purposes or not within 500 meters of the safe zone, 5.4 You are also not allowed to camp on the 500 meter edge of the safe zone and wait for players to ambush who are leaving the trader, that is cheap. 5.5 You are not allowed to log out from the server while within 50 meters of a trader for extended periods of time. Server restarts do not apply to this rule. 6. Toxicity/Hacking or Exploiting: 6.1 This should go without saying but any player who is caught exploiting a glitch to use to their advantage, being overly toxic to a specific or general group of other players, or deliberately hacking will result in a ban. 7. Roadblocks: 7.1 Players are allowed to set up roadblocks in any location 500 m or greater away from a safe zone. 7.2 In the event that you stumble across a roadblock you are expected to do as you are told assuming those who are hosting the roadblock have you at gunpoint. 7.3 Turning your vehicle around and driving away is permitted but the moment you begin to turn around the road blockers are allowed to fire up on you. 7.4 At a roadblock you may have your weapons and vehicle with all of its contents within it stolen along with the key if found. 7.5 Road blockers are not to take any items out of the players pockets or backpacks. 8. Fear For Life: 8.1 You are not a terminator, if somebody is pointing a gun directly to your head, you are expected to respond in a realistic way such as pleading for your life, doing as you were told, or maybe even being resistant and noncompliant to those who have you at gunpoint. 8.2 In no event are you allowed to straight up ignore a weapon clearly pointed at you by pulling out your gun and defending yourself. If a weapon is pointed at you, you are allowed to run away so long as the hostile is at least 15 m away from you. But after doing so they are allowed to fire upon you.   9. Hostage situations: 9.1 When you are a hostage you are expected to value your life based on "Rule 8 Fear For Life". 9.2 You may resist up to three direct orders given by those holding you hostage before they are allowed to kill you. 9.3 You are allowed to struggle out of restraints but after the first time you are caught and told to stop if you are found continuing to struggle then they are allowed to fire up on you. 9.4 Players have 30 seconds to comply before hostile action can be taken. 10. AirDrops & Helicopter Crashes: 10.1 Airdrops are KOS within 200 meters of any airdropped loot box. 10.2 Helicopter crashes are KOS within 100 meters of the crash location. 10.3 The airdrop zone is not to become kill on site until the box has reached the ground. Though warning shots are permitted before touchdown. 11. Reporting: 11.1 Any and all reports on another player must come with sufficient video evidence of the player violating a rule. It is for this reason that we ask all players that are able to record, please do. We will not be able to help you with issues regarding other players without video evidence. 12. “You can’t do that”: 12.1 If a player is violating a rule it is not within your jurisdiction to tell them on the spot that they are breaking the rule, that tends to ruin your RP and the same for everyone. If a player is breaking a rule simply try to avoid them until the situation could be resolved with an admin. 13. VDM: 13.1 Vehicle death match is permitted, as long as the situation is appropriate and the driver needs to use a vehicle to defend themselves. 13.2 They are permitted to run into other vehicles and players that are engaged in hostile action with you. This applies to those setting up a roadblock as well. 14. Base-building: 14.1 Bases must maintain a 1000 meter distance from the center of any trader post 14.2 Bases must maintain a 200 meter distance from the edge of any military zone. 14.3 Bases must not be built within 350 meters of a coastline or on any islands. 14.4 Your structures must look semi-realistic and if it appears To defy gravity or is irrationally large per your group size then it will be asked to be removed/remodeled. 14.5 Each player is entitled to 6 storage containers. This mean if a base has four players then there are allowed to be 24 storage containers within the base of any size. (This is for performance reasons). 14.6 Maximum of 2 car tents per base. 14.7 If a base is left abandoned for more than 21 days then it will be deleted. 15. Bandit actions: 15.1 You are permitted to be an in-game asshole within moderation, if it is discovered that you are provoking almost every player you come across just to be hostile then you will be ordered to simmer down before facing consequences for being toxic. Think of it this way, if everybody in the server was robbing/killing everybody then nobody would be playing passively and nobody would be having fun. 16. Base raiding: 16.1 Base raiding is only permitted when at least one member of the group that owns the base you are raiding is online. This requires you to know your enemy and stops individuals from randomly targeting other players bases who may not have the luxury of being able to play at that time. 16.2 You have the right to protect your base at all times. If someone is within your territory you can warn them that hostile action will be taken if they do not leave. 16.3 The player has 30 seconds to comply before hostile action can be taken. 17. Communication: 17.1 In this server we ask that you do not speak with any squad mates via voice chat in a third-party software such as discord or team speak or whatever. Anything Said in game should have the risk factor of being heard by someone else. 17.2 If you are caught utilizing third-party voice communications you will be removed from the server. 17.3 As for texts communications and messaging you are free to role-play in text through Discord or through the in-game PDA. 17.4 It is required that all players on the server have a working good quality microphone set to push to talk. 17.5 Racial, homophobic, sexist, or personally hateful slurs are unacceptable in this server and will result in an immediate and permanent ban. 18. Loot Cycling: 18.1 Loot cycling of any kind will not be tolerated in this server. First offense will result in a 24 hour ban and a second offense will be a permanent ban from the server. Loot Cycling is when you pick up loot from a location and discard it outside the area so it will respawn. Then players go back into the area for fresh spawned loot. 19. Vehicles: 19.1 Maximum of 2 vehicles per person is allowed at any time. 19.2 There is also a maximum of 6 vehicles per base however you are allowed 1 additional large vehicle such as a covered truck per base. 19.3 Any vehicle that appears to have been left at a trader for an extended period of time will be removed by an admin. This includes all items left inside the vehicle at that time. The vehicle will not be replaced. 19.4 Parking inside of the trader areas is not allowed. 20. KOS - Rules of Engagement: 20.1 At no time are you to engage upon someone that is inside a KOS zone from outside of a KOS zone. 20.2 You are also not allowed to engage someone who is outside of a KOS zone when you are inside of a KOS zone. 20.3 Both parties must be within the KOS zone for combat to initiate.   21. Fail RP 21.1 Logging out of the server when in a RP situation in order to prevent the situation from occurring (Battle Logging) is not allowed. Examples of this include but not limited to; being engaged in a fire fight, being taken in a hostage situation, or avoiding a road block. Violations of this rule will be strictly enforced. First offense will result in a 24 hour ban. Second offense will be a permanent ban. 21.2 Speaking to another player out of character during a RP situation is not allowed. If you are engaged in a RP conversation and start talking about another situation that does not apply to your character or current gameplay then this is considered Fail RP. Repeated offenses will result in a server ban subject to appeal.
